Carol D. Campbell, DNP, APRN, PMHCNS-BC, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C
Dr. Campbell is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is also board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Central Arkansas and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of South Alabama.
Dr. Campbell has over 25 years of nursing experience in various practice settings, including inpatient and outpatient mental health, nursing education, family practice, school nursing, and corrections. She provides mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
She is passionate about building relationships with her patients based on mutual respect and shared decision-making while providing patient-centered, individualized care. She utilizes an integrated, holistic approach in helping patients to improve their quality of life and promote overall health and wellness.
